Nature Captured in Wood

Each year, Dejan Hribar unveils new DEVUR sculpture collections, bringing nature and symbolism to life through wood. His collections, including Bird, Bulls, Forest, and Mountain, reflect a deep connection to the natural world and the power of organic forms. Ranging from small-scale sculptures to large-scale statement pieces, every work is handcrafted from Slovenian wood, blending traditional techniques with modern design. Each sculpture is a unique expression of artistry, craftsmanship, and nature’s raw beauty.

In 2021, artist Dejan Hribar launched his debut collection, followed by an annual release of 10 new pieces. Additionally, he introduced a limited collector’s edition crafted from walnut wood, mounted on a stand. Birds, symbolizing freedom and boundless possibilities, perfectly embody Dejan’s artistic expression. They transcend between heaven and earth, maintaining a harmonious balance as they glide effortlessly through the air. This imagery reflects the essence of his work, where balance and freedom play key roles in his creative process.

GOZD (Forest)

The sculpture collection GOZD by artist Dejan Hribar presents a minimalist interpretation of a forest, using five distinct types of wood: walnut, oak, ginkgo, linden, and maple. Each piece captures the unique beauty of its wood, with corresponding brass leaves that enhance its organic form.

The collection is available as a whole or can be purchased individually, allowing you to bring the essence of nature into your space with a single sculpture or as a complete set. Each sculpture is a testament to the artist’s ability to blend natural materials with elegant craftsmanship, offering a harmonious connection to the forest.

BIKI (Bulls)

Crafted from exquisite walnut and oak wood, DEVUR Bulls are a striking exploration of abstract design and minimalism. Artist Dejan Hribar launched the first collection in 2022, and since then, a new limited edition of just 10 pieces is released annually, including exclusive creations made from walnut root.

With their clean lines, bold forms, and distinctive horns, these abstract interpretations capture the essence of strength and endurance. Each piece is a powerful symbol of resilience and a testament to exceptional craftsmanship, designed to enrich any contemporary living space.
